Michael Squires is a seasoned U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret with over 13 years of leadership experience in high-threat and diplomatic environments, both domestically and internationally. Trained in elite operational disciplines—including surveillance, reconnaissance, intelligence collection, JTAC(SOTAC), sniper systems, and special operations interdiction—Mike brings a mission-first mindset to every challenge.

As a servant leader, Mike thrives in building and leading high-performing, goal-oriented teams. His ability to apply military decision-making processes to business—through risk mitigation, course-of-action development, and contingency planning—makes him a force multiplier in any strategic environment. Now serving as Chief Technology Officer at GreenMet, Mike plays a central role in shaping U.S. critical mineral and rare earth supply chain strategies. He works directly with Department of Defense officials, commercial innovators, and global mining partners to secure non-dilutive capital through channels such as DPA Title III—advancing domestic industrial capacity and aligning private-sector projects with national security objectives.

Mike also advises select companies on business development, government engagement, and strategic growth initiatives—drawing on his extensive network of leaders across the defense, technology, and geopolitical landscapes.
