GreenMet Underscores Locksley Resources as America’s Antimony Leader

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, D.C., September 18, 2025 — GreenMet is proud to recognize our key partner Locksley Resources recent progress rebuilding America’s critical minerals supply chain and the nation’s leading source of antimony.
Located just 1.4 kilometers from Mountain Pass, the only producing rare earth mine in North America, Locksley’s Mojave Project represents the key nexus of U.S. efforts to secure access to rare earths and antimony. With high-grade targets and approvals in place to advance drilling, Locksley is positioned to help anchor long-term domestic resilience at a time when federal momentum is driving supply chain reshoring.

Antimony is an essential material for both national defense and the clean energy transition, yet today the United States remains almost entirely dependent on foreign sources. Locksley is working to change that reality. Through a partnership with Rice University, the company is advancing innovations in both processing and energy storage. Its proprietary Deepsolv™ technology provides a clean, ore-agnostic alternative to traditional smelting methods, enabling scalable U.S. antimony processing in a market projected to exceed seven billion dollars.

At the same time, Locksley is pioneering antimony’s role in sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries, helping address the limitations of conventional chemistries and supporting next-generation grid storage aligned with Department of Energy priorities. These innovations have the potential to strengthen both the U.S. power grid and the country’s strategic independence from foreign supply chains.

GreenMet is proud to support Locksley not only as a strategic partner but also as an ally in navigating the federal funding process. By working with agencies across government, connecting private sector innovation to public sector priorities, and helping align projects with national strategy, GreenMet is ensuring this transformative work receives the recognition and support it deserves.

“Locksley Resources is not just a partner, they are a linchpin in the effort to restore U.S. leadership in critical minerals,” said Drew Horn, CEO of GreenMet. “Their pioneering technologies and strategic positioning make them the antimony source in America and a true leader in advancing the secure, sustainable future we are building together.”
